2009 Ambulance Membership Gifts

Why Should You Consider an Ambulance Service Membership Gift.

In addition to the physical suffering that often accompanies emergency situations there is always the very real concern about the financial burden that may follow. In addition to the peace of mind that you and your family will have with a membership, you are also helping your community and those less fortunate. Portions of these funds help defray the expense of uncompensated care provided by Southern Berks Regional E.M.S. to residents of the above areas who do not have the financial ability to pay for the services they require.

Operation Ranger Donation

The presentation of a Polaris Ranger to Southern Berks Regional Emergency Medical Services took place in August 2008 during a racing event in nearby Reading that was part of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) circuit that U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company (USSTC) helps sponsor. The Southern Berks Regional EMS was represented by George Mang (fourth from left) and Brad Silcox (fourth from right), who accepted the donation from Scot Weicker, director, corporate contributions (second from right) and Jake Crockett, One-on-One Marketing supervisor (far left). Also on hand were racing legend Don “the Snake” Prudhomme (second from left), owner of the USSTC top-fuel dragster, and Larry Dixon, the car’s driver (third from right), as well as two models appearing at the event on behalf of USSTC’s Skoal brand.

Safety Town with Southern Berks

Safety Town is a pint-sized town where comprehensive safety messages are taught by safety professionals to kindergarten age children. Each day they learn a different safety message. Safety Town is one of the many ways Southern Berks Regional EMS supports the community.

Toyo Tire Nationals

Southern Berks Regional EMS completed another successful event as the dedicated emergency medical services provider during the recently completed National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Toyo Tire Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway.
